Tell us about your background?
I’ve done a wide range of things over a nearly 20 year career in software, including building medical devices for the disabled, writing load balancers in C++, leading a team of 10 building a next generation Kubernetes platform for a zero-trust VPN and writing rust for a Malaysian FinTech company.
What’s the most exciting part of your job?
Learning a whole load of new things about ML and working with the tight-knit team at iKVA.
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I love reading on a wide range of subjects, listening to music, cycling with friends and playing board games. Assuming I have 5 minutes to spare for any of these things as I have an 18 month old.
Where can we find you when you’re not working?
Either chasing after my son, or cycling somewhere (the pub hopefully).
